Patient resources
For air medical transport requests, contact the LifeNet Communications Center at 833-611-5433.
- LifeNet’s published Notice of Privacy Practices (PDF) describes its handling of protected health information and patient privacy rights.
- LifeNet patient resources provides contacts for patient records, billing and assistance. The Business Office can be reached at 903-832-8531.
Billing rights
Billing and insurance questions should be discussed with the Business Office at 903-832-8531 and your insurer. This website does not determine coverage, benefits, costs or eligibility.
Protection from surprise air ambulance bills
Under the federal No Surprises Act, if you have coverage through an employer, a Health Insurance Marketplace plan or an individual plan and are transported by an out-of-network air ambulance, you generally cannot be billed more than your plan’s in-network cost-sharing amount. Other programs, including Medicare and Medicaid, have their own rules. CMS medical-bill rights explains these protections and how to get help.
Good faith estimates
If you do not have insurance, or choose not to use it, you have the right to ask for a good faith estimate of expected charges before a scheduled, non-emergency service, and to dispute a bill that is at least $400 more than the estimate. To ask about an estimate, contact the Business Office. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.
Website privacy
This website provides service information. It has no patient intake, account-registration, payment or file-upload forms, and it does not ask you for personal or health information. Please do not send patient records or sensitive health information to the community education email address.
Website features and technical information
The site’s pages do not include advertising pixels, audience analytics or social-media trackers, and the site does not set cookies of its own. Images, video, fonts and map data are served with the site. The motion setting applies to your current visit and is not saved in browser storage.
Our hosting provider processes technical information, such as network addresses, browser information, request logs and network error reports, to deliver and secure the website, and may use strictly necessary security cookies. This information is not used to advertise to you and is separate from the patient-care privacy practices described in LifeNet’s published notice.
Links, telephone and email
Telephone and email links open your chosen calling or email application. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. Links to other websites, including LifeNet’s patient resources and government websites, lead to pages with their own privacy practices.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Questions
For patient privacy questions or requests, use the contact information in LifeNet’s published privacy notice or call 903-832-8531. This website explanation does not replace that notice.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control or magnification. The site is designed and tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What the site provides
- A “Skip to main content” link and full keyboard access with visible focus indicators.
- A “Reduce motion” button at the start of the home page that turns off video, animation and scroll effects and shows every section as a simple page. The site also follows your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- A simple, single-column layout that is used automatically when the page is zoomed in or viewed in a small window.
- Text alternatives for images and diagrams. The destination map can be explored from a list as well as with a mouse or touch.
- Background videos have no sound and are decorative. They play only while visible and can be stopped with “Reduce motion”.
Known limitations
With motion on, the home page uses long scrolling scenes whose text appears as you scroll; “Reduce motion” shows the same information without them. The linked Notice of Privacy Practices is a PDF hosted on LifeNet’s main website and may not be fully accessible; ask us for it in another format.
Tell us about a barrier
If you have difficulty using the site or need information in another format, call LifeNet’s Business Office at 903-832-8531 (dial 711 first to use a telecommunications relay service) or email lifenetairpr@lifenetems.org with the subject “Website accessibility”. Tell us the page or action you could not use and the help you need. Please do not include medical information.
Nondiscrimination and language assistance
Federal civil rights laws prohibit discrimination in health programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
To ask for language assistance, an auxiliary aid or service, or information in another format, or to raise a concern, contact LifeNet’s Business Office at 903-832-8531.
You may also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, through its complaint portal or by calling 1-800-368-1019 (TDD 1-800-537-7697).
Aircraft operator
LifeNet Air is the air medical transport program of LifeNet, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation. LifeNet’s published transition information identifies Metro Aviation as the aviation operator for LifeNet Air from October 1, 2026, and states that aircraft models may vary by base. For current operator, aircraft and base information, see LifeNet’s official air-transport updates.
Viewing this site or making an inquiry does not arrange or guarantee transport. Whether a flight can be accepted depends on clinical needs, aircraft availability, weather and operational conditions.
Terms of use
By using this website you agree to the terms in this section.
General information only
Content is general service information. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment recommendation, and using this website does not create a provider-patient relationship. Do not rely on this website in an emergency: call 911.
Images, diagrams and the destination map
Photographs and video on this website, including the aircraft, landscapes and the Communications Center scene, are digitally generated illustrations. They do not show actual patients, staff, facilities or flights. Cabin diagrams show representative arrangements and are not technical specifications or certified configuration drawings. Actual aircraft, equipment, interiors and liveries may differ.
The destination map shows places LifeNet Air has flown to in the past. Routes and aircraft shown are illustrative. Past destinations do not describe a service area and do not mean a flight to that place is available.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep this website accurate, but services, aircraft, bases and contact details can change, and the website may contain errors or be unavailable at times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and LifeNet is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the website or websites it links to. Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have as a patient.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Names and marks
The LifeNet and LifeNet Air names and logos identify LifeNet’s services and may not be used without permission. Aircraft manufacturer and operator names identify the aircraft and companies described. Their inclusion does not imply that those companies endorse or sponsor this website.
